We are Daniel and Elizabeth Ransom – church planting missionaries in Perugia, Italy. Our desire is to assist the Italian church in making disciples of Jesus Christ. We are currently working to bring the local church originally planted by Elizabeth’s parents (Centro Evangelico Battista) to “graduate” to autonomous status.
Elizabeth grew up in Italy, the daughter of veteran missionaries Fred & Rachel Whitman. Daniel came to Italy after high school to gain some experience in broadcasting. During that time he connected with the culture, gained an interest in the ministry work in Perugia, and developed a friendship with Elizabeth.
After several years we returned to the U.S. for training and to raise support in order to return to Italy as full-time church planters. We were married in 2003 and moved back to Italy in 2010.
