Hello there kind visitor, Welcome to my website. My name is Akshay and I'm a photographer based out of Toronto. My photography journey started in May 2014 in Bengaluru, India. I would use my phone camera to capture images in and around my neighbourhood on morning walks. In June 2015, I got my first camera and have been shooting images ever since then and moved to the United States of America in 2015 and in 2020, I moved to Canada. I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering with focus on experimental methods in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics. My field of work helped me develop an efficient workflow for my photography as we do use similar photography principles in scientific and commercial photography, except we get to use a big laser in the former.
2020 and 2021 had been disappointing years for many people across the world including myself. However, it did rekindle my passion for photography. In such dark times, I found joy in seeking beauty in the smaller things in and around us. This motivated me to start my own photography business. I wish to share my perspective with you.
