The Mirror Program was originally created by Greg Jarrard while he was incarcerated at the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) in Newcastle, Wyoming. Greg was serving a 7-10 year sentence for Larceny and saw the important of a second chance. Thus, the Mirror Program was born. This program allowed inmates incarcerated at WHCC to share their stories with young adults (ages 18-25) sentenced to the Boot Camp Program at WHCC.

In October 2015, Greg transitioned to the Casper community and wanted to continue the Mirror Program. With the help of the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Casper Probation & Parole Office and the Casper Re-Entry Center, Greg gave the first Mirror Program presentation in Casper on August 11, 2016.
