Mental health is a sneaky thing… I think looking back to when I was younger I have always been an anxious person/child. The origin for me after lots of soul searching and reflection was that although I appeared quite confident and outgoing, I am actually NOT!
When I was little and my parents would go out for the evening I hated it, I would cry and not settle and even though I loved my big brothers who were baby sitting, I just worried that my mum and dad wouldn’t come back. They hadn’t done anything to make me think this, I just had irrational fears. I would be scared they would die in a taxi home, or something would happen in the place they were. I wouldn’t be happy until they came home, where I would normally be pretending to be asleep on the sofa so that my d
