In Matthew 6:28-29 Jesus is looking out among a field of wheat, and He sees lily flowers sprouting up among the grain. In seeing this He says, “Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all of his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are” (NLT).
