Who We Are Hood Scholars is an organization dedicated to creating and offering Scholars from the “Hood” scholarships, networking, and incentivized opportunities to help them along their educational journey. Each of our efforts have been supported by the community who have generously donated to each scholarship campaign.
The goal with creating this organization is to contribute to a more positive narrative than what media has portrayed the Hood to be. We believe the Hood has more to offer and that educational should be a possibility to students no matter where you are from. Our mission is to advocate for Hood Scholars' seeking higher education.
