Separated from the Native American dance arena for years, a young man struggles to return to the traditions his people have celebrated for generations. Working to overcome adversity, and the obstacles that Native American communities face today, he fights to balance a traditional lifestyle with the expectations of modern society.
Throughout his journey to return to Native American dance, he discovers issues of inadequate nutrition, fitness, obesity, and other health and wellness concerns in Indian Country. Reaching out to historians, tribal leaders, fitness coaches, Native American dancers, his community and beyond, he works to inspire a people and restore a once thriving style of dance.
