Description: The CatWorks, Inc. is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue organization working primarily out of Reading, Pennsylvania. We are made up of a group of volunteers that foster stray and unwanted cats and dogs until adoption. We do not have a shelter. We care for our fosters in our home. They are not kept in cages but treated like members of our family so they can be loved and socialized properly.

The CatWorks is a non-profit (501-C-3) organization established in order to enrich the lives of abandoned, feral, rescued, and orphaned dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are without shelter, food, health care, and love, and to save the lives of homeless animals by providing temporary foster homes and ultimately, permanent homes.
We expanded in 2006 by adding dogs and puppies to our foster care program. In 2014 we received our kennel license from the State of Pennsylvania due to the increased number of dog adoptions.
