I write this in memory of my Grandmother Treecia Mae Jarrell and my mother Alice Inez LaBier Gound. You helped shape the woman I am today. You endured so much. I am sorry for your suffering. All they ever wanted was for someone to recognize and respect our Native American heritage. You both left this world too soon. I miss you, my tiny Grenadier Squaws.
