Description: Board Game based on the Electoral College
Every Presidential election cycle the media and the public start discussing the electoral college. In general these discussions revolve around how the electoral college can help or hinder a candidate's presidential run. Instead of concentrating on winning a majority of the popular votes in the country, each candidate starts by concentrating their resources on selected states. Sometimes this strategy works out, sometimes it does not.
We know it often leaves the average voter wondering what is going on in the candidate's mind, and will the candidate ever campaign in their state. Believe it or not, there are lots of other complications that the electoral college adds to a candidate's thoughts and processes when deciding on a strategy of how to best spend their campaign funds.
Well - when we started thinking about the strategy a presidential candidate might use, and we realized with all the twists, turns, complications etc.of the electoral college, it might make a great board game. So, it took years, but we developed a really fun board game, based on the rules of the electoral college! (ok we did take a little bit of liberty, but the game is pretty well based on those rules!)
