Biblical Christianity is very different from modern Christianity in that the God of the Bible does have a name, a law, and a people. Ignorance of this has had disastrous results. The Bible says, ”My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea 4:6) Our generation has been forgotten because it has forgotten who is their God.
