"Thought-starter" is a term I use in my work as an editor when I offer ideas to writers for making their stories better. Starting new thinking is the purpose of the novel that gave birth to the idea of the Alliance, Gundown . When I created the Alliance in Gundown , I came to wish it was real so that there was an apolitical way people could join together to make the promise and work for better lives. And I made the promise, which is what led to giving away Gundown ( free ebooks here ).
Maybe it can become real, but it takes more than me to do it. I'm a writer with a vision, not an organizer of movements. I need help to figure out how to enable people to join together on this site and, someday, in reality. If there are enough of us, especially those with web and legal skills, we could become Allies in reality.
