Austin ISD won for its Casis Elementary School , designed by LPA . The project was a new construction project replacing an existing elementary school on the same site. Maximizing flexibility of the project was a priority to the district and community. The new design incorporates several multi-use spaces that provide additional functionality in a reduced footprint.
