1976: Search for Life is a project about our relationship to time, told through family history and the history of space exploration, specifically, the 1976 Viking mission to Mars. It is a time-based experience that lasts about 10 minutes, with a looping video and a soundtrack on headphones.
A work-in-progress version of this installation was funded by Stichting Droom en Daad and the Stimuleringsfonds and was presented in Rotterdam in November 2021. The latest version was presented Sept 24-Oct 1st at Workshop Gallery in Rotterdam.
