This doesn’t just mean making sure we’ve got opportunities to gather for worship and celebration, but also that we are seeking to provide space in which people can be warm and access food in the current cost of living crisis. This includes both major projects, like ‘Hope@Trinity’ in Clacton and ‘The Lounge’ in Harwich, and smaller ones, like ‘Open House’ at Jaywick Methodist Church and ‘Warm Welcome’ at Emmanuel Church in Walton (see the “Warm Welcome” page).
Our welcome extends to everyone – those who can happily affirm their Christian faith, those with questions and uncertainties, and those just looking for other people to spend some time with.
