In today’s society, it is nearly impossible for our kids not to get caught up in the “me” of everything they do. Their grades, their sports pursuits, their art/music achievements, their social contributions are all planned, pursued and celebrated based on their individual success — with the ultimate goal of them getting into the perfect college, get the perfect job and achieve the perfect life.
That is why it is so refreshing and inspiring when a young athlete like Taylor Cole comes around and demonstrates the desire, willingness and character to put as much passion and effort into lifting those around her up and sharing in their success, as she does to succeed herself.
