Description: Compassionate Friends Victoria operate grief support groups for bereaved parents and siblings. Grief support groups are composed of similarly bereaved parents and siblings interested in helping others cope with the feelings of loss that come with a death in the family, death of a child, death of a sibling or a death from suicide. TCFV have a 24-hour grief support line – free call 1800 641 091.
Peer Support Groups allow you to share experiences with people who also have the lived experience of grief. Listen and learn from others who may be further along in their grief and benefit from the knowledge of understanding 'what’s normal'.
