TASSCUBO was organized in 1967 for the purpose of contributing to the advancement of higher education in its fullest and broadest implications and specifically to the professional advancement of the office or officers of business and fiscal affairs which exist in the state supported senior colleges and universities in the State of Texas.
TACUBO , formerly known as the Texas Association of State Senior College and University Business Officers, or TASSCUBO, was organized in 1967 for the purpose of contributing to the advancement of higher education and specifically to the professional development of the officers of business and fiscal affairs in Texas colleges and universities.
The organization was renamed in 2023 to include both public and private institutions of higher education in the State of Texas and to align with the naming convention of regional and national organizations for business officers. TACUBO remains the premier professional organization for Texas college and university chief financial officers, vice presidents, and other higher education business professionals who aspire to positions as senior leaders in the future.
