Biotechnology is an important tool for seeds research and development. Crops developed with seed trait technologies are beneficial to farmers, consumers and the future of agriculture. Our research is helping Syngenta deliver on its commitment to make crops more efficient—one of the six goals outlined in The Good Growth Plan , the company’s global sustainability initiative.
Syngenta has made significant contributions to biotechnology, dating back to the game-changing introduction of Bt corn and Mary-Dell Chilton’s enterprising work in genetic engineering.
