Sweeney First Aid Supplies Ltd was established in 1987 by husband and wife team Paul and Gill Sweeney as a sideline to our Pharmacy in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We began supplying local factories and businesses with their first aid requirements and soon realised that there was a real need for a company specialising in first aid items. Supplying only first aid related items means our product knowledge is extensive and customers are guided by our experience.
In 1998 we added a small manufacturing area where we make tubular bandage which is distributed throughout the UK and as far afield as Trinidad. In total there are six of us looking after these two aspects of the business with our newest member of staff being with us for over four years.
Being a small company we are adaptable and able to make decisions quickly, we are all located in the same building and so are able to communicate easily and quickly with each other. We feel this is advantageous to our customers as we are able to respond and react quickly to enquiries and suggestions.
