A huge THANK YOU to the artists, audience members, sponsors and volunteers who helped us to create the 2023 Swaledale Festival.
Festival goers were treated to a wide variety of events including puppets, poetry, folk music, jazz, astronomy, chamber music, drama, comedy, brass bands, clog dancers, singers, choirs, talks and guided walks.
To top it all, the heroic young violinist Mathilde Milwidsky bravely stepped in with only a couple of hours notice to perform music she’d never played before with the Doric Quartet - causing the audience to "rise to their feet and clap till it hurt".
