I am Sukhjinder Singh, a Technical Lead - CFD/CAE at General Motors . Before GM, I worked as a Senior CFD Engineer at Siemens PLM Software , with a diverse CFD clientele, especially Oil & Gas, Marine & Offshore and Chemical Processing Industry, mentoring engineers to adopt and use CFD effectively. I graduated with a Phd in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech . I worked in the High Performance Computational Fluid Dynamics (HPCFD) Lab. with Dr. Danesh Tafti as my dissertation adviser. Prior to Virginia Tech, I worked with Praxair as a Research and Development Engineer. I received my Masters in Mechanical Engineering from The State University of New York, Buffalo (2009) and Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur , India (2007).
My research interests include computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer, large eddy simulations, turbulence modeling, multiphase flows and turbomachinery.
