I'm guilty. I subscribe to the same horror inflicted upon me as a child by my parents. The sayings. The nose wiping. The exaggerations to get a point across. I love them all. I use them all. Right now parents are spending A LOT of time at home with their children (a blessing in so many ways but also a unique struggle) and I have never thought more about all the amazing things I swore I'd never say or do when I became a mom.
