Pan is a group of people in North Staffordshire working cooperatively to try to make a difference to the way we buy food and to reduce the impact that our day-to-day lives has on our environment. The group was originally started in 1981 as a way of people clubbing together to buy whole foods together from a wholesaler. We still buy food together using an online ordering system to make monthly purchases from Suma. However, we now meet regularly and work together on a range of other things including promoting
