Welcome to Stockton Springs Community Library (SSCL). We have been serving the residents and visitors to Stockton Springs, Maine and surrounding localities since 2001.
Situated in the historic Colcord House, located on the corner of Main & Station Streets, the building, which is owned by and shares space with the Stockton Springs Historical Society , has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
SSCL plays an important role in the social fabric of the community. The library sponsors special events and ongoing programs for a variety of ages and interests. For example, three book clubs, a painting group, a genealogy club, and a gardening group meet regularly at the library. The library’s Tai Chi group is currently available twice a week via Zoom and in person at the Town Office lower level meeting room.
