Stephani Scotch (Watson) was born and raised in Northern California and transferred to Arizona State University after graduating from Folsom Lake College in 2016. At Arizona State University, Stephani is working towards her Master of Legal Studies, M.L.S. at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Her graduate degree emphasis is Human Resources and Employment Law. In her final semester of her undergraduate studies, Stephani completed an internship with her former Sociology professor at Folsom Lake College, where she assisted with implementing the Social Justice A.A. degree program. This new A.A. degree program will be available to students in the 2019/2020 academic school year. With this learning opportunity she focused on creating an Interdisciplinary Studies module for the Folsom Lake College faculty to integrate within their existing Social Science curriculum.
Stephani wishes to focus on making contributions in an expansive capacity, which will ultimately benefit society at large. This desire is what compels her in her aspirations to become a professor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Business Law, Law and Society, Political Science, Justice Studies and/or Sociology. Stephani intends to foster an environment of enriched learning at a community college, where she hopes to mentor and guide future generations of learners and leaders.
