steel research international is a metallurgy journal for the research and development of steel and related materials. The scope ranges from process metallurgy and metal forming to materials engineering, process control and testing. Our emphasis is on steel, iron alloys and materials related to steelmaking and the processing of steel, such as refractories and slags. Formerly known as ‘Archiv für das Eisenhüttenwesen’, we have been serving researchers and practitioners since 1927.
