In December 2020, I started publishing the current releases of OpenJDK (Java) and OpenJFX (JavaFX) when I noticed that they were not available in any current release of Ubuntu. I had been building both projects for years as part of my testing, but the Snap packages allowed me to document the process and create up-to-date builds for myself and anyone else who wants them.
