Shame about the rain for yesterday's Coronation, but we still did ourselves proud. Can't say I was very enthusiastic about it all beforehand, but got into the spirit a little bit on the day and watched the King & Queen get crowned in the end. Wasn't the gold carriage AMAZING! Very fairytale!
Anyway, moving on to IMPORTANT things(!) . . . for today's homework, I got out a square card and added some background stamping using Distress Oxides in Uncharted Marina and Spiced Marmalade, then threw clear embossing powder over the top and heat set it. You can't see from the photo, but the background stamping is nice and glossy and the colours merged to be slightly marbled in places! NICE!
