The Birkbeck Sport Business Centre is a formally recognised academic research centre of Birkbeck, University of London. Since 1999, members of the Centre have been actively involved in sport industry research, with a particular focus on governance and regulation.
Our research informs the curriculum of Birkbeck’s portfolio of postgraduate sport management degrees and stimulates public debate and impact within the sport industry. The Centre’s work is international in scope, notably through partnerships with leading European universities and sport federations, including UEFA and FIBA.
