Formerly the home of Beans & Bagels till purchase in 2013 by a staff member, Spoken Cafe is a premier cafe located in Ravenswood right off the Montrose Brown Line stop serving breakfast and lunch with some Cajun respects (both of the owners are from Southern Louisiana) including locally roasted organic coffee and espresso beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, local pastries and lunch fare all made with in house ingredients sourced locally and organically whenever possible. We have been sourcing New York Bagel & Bialy product for almost 24 years now. Made in Skokie with all the love and care and delivered fresh every morning served up with a continuously rotating selection house-made cream cheeses, jams, nut butters and a variety of hummus. Our breakfast sandwiches are crafted using cage free Phil’s Fresh Eggs and Neuske’s Smoked Meats from Wisconsin. We also feature a pastry case full of local bakers and donuts which change with the season.
