Branches on God's Vine, Rooted in Jesus: In 2023, we are continuing our work to achieve our diocesan strategic plan priorities and targets that will involve the efforts of everyone in the diocese. These directives, outlined by Diocesan Council in 2021, to strengthen, grow and plant congregations in the diocese of Spokane, will take the form of 3 areas of focus this year:
We build a relationship with Jesus Christ by seeking to know (in scripture), love (in open, honest prayer), follow (in how we live), and share (in stories with one another).
We make space for others to be and become themselves fully by listening generously and with holy curiosity. When we open ourselves to others, our minds, hearts, and imaginations grow.
