I am an assistant professor (rtd-A) at Sapienza University of Rome interested in trustworthy machine learning . I am a member of the PINlab led by prof. Galasso on a mission to develop interpretable perception algorithms that leverage the uncertainty inherent in deep learning models. I am also into algorithmic fairness, particularly in alternative learning strategies to comprehend and mitigate the bias in the data. We aim to bring robots into the real world by creating digital humans using Generative AI and letting them interact safely in a simulated environment.
