It is an honor to be re-elected as your mayor. As I look toward the next 2 years, my focus is to enthusiastically and sincerely serve the community I live in, work in and most importantly, the one I am proud to call home.
Our city is almost fully built out and, therefore, our focus is to continue to provide high quality city services to our residents. We will continue to work on an infrastructure improvement plan and continue to change and adapt to a new normalcy as we work through the effects of the pandemic on our lives. The communities surrounding South Lyon are experiencing high growth, so building relationships and working with these communities will continue to be important.
Personally, I try every day to promote and encourage diversity in our town by learning from, listening to, and celebrating others. In my role with the City, I am in communication with staff and our public safety team to make sure all staff and citizens are feeling respected, included, and safe.
