We are a charitable trust striving to discover and manage threatened native birds, particularly the South Island kokako.  Our trust was formed in July 2010 in order to complement the work of the Department of Conservation by leading a planned, coordinated and community driven strategy to make the discoveries and research needed to bring about the recovery of the species.
