The first Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) Symposium will be held from 14-18 August 2023 in Hobart, Tasmania. It is our pleasure to invite you to this milestone event for the SOOS community.
The SOOS Symposium theme, “Southern Ocean in a Changing World” , recognizes the important role of the Southern Ocean in the Earth system. The Symposium is a forum for assessing our progress so far in providing observing systems, observations and regional programs that deliver timely and accessible information for the Southern Ocean.
