In other past lives, I worked as a freelance features writer/print journalist — find my bylines here . I lived in South Korea for seven years, where I spent a year on a Fulbright grant, worked in corporate marketing, tutored a K-pop producer, tried my hand at voice acting, and helped launch Time Out Seoul .
I was a 2019 recipient of the 11th Hour Food and Farming Journalism Fellowship at UC Berkeley.
