I am a senior Jungian Analyst, a Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have combined these disciplines in my work with clients for many years. I see individuals and groups in my private practice, which I have recently moved from Chevy Chase, Maryland to Washington, DC.
My approach is a relational one. I believe that the most important aspect of therapy/analysis is the relationship between therapist and client. Understanding the dynamics between myself and my client has been one of my primary interests during all the years of my practice. Since my clients may engage in dialogue with me, as well as make art, bring dreams, use phrases from dance movement, maybe even bring music, I pay attention to what happens as we sit together in the silent space.
