Our solar cooker projects have made significant contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) by helping achieve 7 out of the 17 UNSDGs as explained below:
By using the solar cookers provided by our projects, the expenditure on purchasing coal was reduced, which is equivalent to the increase of income of poor rural residents and the reduction of poverty.
The old coal-fired cook stove generated smoke which is harmful to health. The project reduced the consumption of coal and consequently reduced the smoke from coal. Thus, it improves the air quality and the health of poor rural residents in project area.
