Inspired by the Oregon coast, VAST attempts to capture the very specific feeling of standing on a cold beach and getting mad at the internet. Each song represents an imaginary place along the coast, blending processed field recordings with voices and instruments to blur the line between the physical and digital worlds. “It’s all real life.”
