The best commercial solution for retrofitting existing blinds seems to be Somfy . They have wireless battery-powered systems and fancy-looking remotes. For new motorized blinds, Bali seems to be popular, and they use Somfy for the motorization. There are also some kickstarter things ( MOVE , MySmartBlinds ), but the last time I looked those didn’t really do what I want. Somfy likely has a good product, but it’s very expensive.
