Sierra Leone Grammar School – Building Excellence
Description: The South-East Branch of the Sierra Leone Grammar School Alumni Association of North America (SLGSAANA) was established to meet and raise funds for the operations of our beloved alma mater.
The SLGSAANASE is pleased to inform you that the delivery of the School items that was shipped from the USA to the Sierra Leone Grammar School in Freetown arrived on Monday at the Port and delivered to the school today October 24th.
The items were received by the principal Canon. Leonard Ken Davies at the school who expressed his thanks to the old boys for their continued support to the school. Canon. Davies also confirmed that the items which included over 8,000 textbooks, 130 School tables, STEM equipment-4 Robotics kits, 5 Mindstorm LEGO kits, 10 Laptops, 2 printers and various other electronics accessories, were delivered intact. The items will be used in the first phase of the STEM innovation project which is the flagship project
The school has a variety of needs, but the SLGSAANA-SE branch has made our Scholarship Program our project of focus. This means much of our resources go to maintaining the scholarships we currently have, in addition to expanding the scholarship program.
