We are resuming weekly in-person services starting Sunday September 25. Service times are as follows: Meditation service 12:30 pm; Regular service 1:30 pm; Adult study class and Dharma school begin at 2:15. We will continue to have a live stream Facebook service for those who are unable to attend in person at service.

Our sect is called Jodo Shinshu Honganji Ha, or Nishi Honganji. Our Mother Temple and International Headquarters are located in Kyoto, Japan. We are also affiliated with the Buddhist Churches of America (B.C.A.) , with headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a member of the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple, you are joining the Sangha (Fellowship of Buddhists) in our efforts to support and follow the teachings of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism.
