Annie Kurz
An art and research project in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut, curated by Henning Eichinger (Germany) and Maggie McCormick (Australia) with Yonglei Ma in China, commences in 2014. SkypeLab grew out of Skypetrait: Transcontinental Faces 2012/13. SkypeLab is a research collaboration between Reutlingen University , Germany, RMIT Un iversity , Melbourne and East China Normal University , Shanghai that explores the role of drawing and portraiture in identity perception within the public space of Skype.
The work of Eichinger and McCormik has won wide spread recognition and was awarded the \" Baden-W\u00FCrttemberg Landeslehpreis \" in 2013 for innovative educational approaches.
SkypeLab is a project in the framework of the Baden-W\u00FCrttemberg-STIPENDIUM for university students - BWS plus, a program of the Baden-W\u00FCrttemberg Stiftung.
