Sit Dog Stay offers puppy training, basic obedience training, and specialized problem solving in group classes or private lessons in the greater Houston area. Its owner, Abby Harrison, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) with over 10 years of experience teaching dog training to several thousand owners and their dogs.
The training style uses scientifically based methods of positive reinforcement which are the same as those used with training dolphins, birds, cats (domestic and big cats), horses and the zoo animals.
Problem solving ranges from house training, barking, jumping, chewing, leash pulling and general not behaving well. Other more specialized problems are aggression, not friendly on leash, shyness, adjusting to life with a cat, multiple dog households, resource guarding and separation anxiety.
