Description: A one-pager about shehab yasser.
I have always been fascinated by problem-solving, which led me to study computer science as an undergraduate. In my early twenties, I became curious about the financial market and how efficient it really is, so I decided to return to school .
In grad school, I rekindled my interest in Artificial Intelligence, where I led a book club to discuss new research papers in Reinforcement Learning and GANs . I also implemented algorithms from these papers to play video games and generate realistic artificial faces. I published some of this work on GitHub .
I work as a backend engineer, I particularly enjoy designing distributed systems. In another life, however, I would’ve pursued an academic position or become a journalist since I like to research different topics and explain them using simple analogies and stories.
