25 years ago, remote work through the internet was an astounding prospect. Back then, during my time at University, I was taking part in research work in the development of distance education systems. We understood that the "World Wide Web" would give us a huge opportunity, reducing the cost of access to a vast trove of knowledge.
At that time, I had my first distance learning experience, one with a professor who was far away from me in Australia, and another with one who was in Spain. I also experienced my first distance work, with a client from the United States.
Now, we are seeing internet-wide access and modern global software eliminating distance and division between professionals. Harmonized base elements and techniques enable us to work from any place across the world.
