Description: The Susquehanna Folk Music Society has been presenting, preserving and encouraging fine traditional arts in Central Pennsylvania since 1985. Based in the Harrisburg area, SFMS is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that presents a full calendar of events throughout the year. In addition, our Susquehanna Folk Arts Center showcases and assists traditional artists in Dauphin, Lebanon and Cumberland Counties, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
While our full festival is taking a year off, we are still packing that second weekend of August with world-class performers and hands-on fun! Join us in Lancaster, Harrisburg and Hershey for live music, workshops and more.
You can help make it happen with a $200 “Your Name In Lights” sponsorship . Sponsors get special seating, recognition from the stage, and mentions in our publicity. Sponsorships are welcome from businesses and organizations as well as from individual music lovers.
