It’s time to demand fuel choice. It’s time to Set America Free. Gas prices hit record highs in 2012, even though U.S. domestic oil production is experiencing a boom. The OPEC oil cartel sits on 78 percent of conventional oil reserves, yet caps its production at a third of global supply. When we drill more, they drill less, and when we use less, they drill less. It's time to change the paradigm. Oil's status as a strategic commodity derives from its virtual monopoly over transportation fuel.
