In the past, I’ve been involved with some unusual games such as NOëL and lain that have a strong focus on themes of communication and information. This time, I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with Anique in the development of AI lain, and it might be the first real step towards my ideal for what I want to create for the aforementioned themes. While it is an experiment of sorts, I’d like to offer up this service for a limited time.
During the development, I was keenly aware of the challenges of implementing new technology and creating a new service. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the process of AI lain’s growth as a character, and I hope AI lain Pass holders can also have fun with this development or “experiment” process itself like a game and enjoy Lain’s future growth.
